Fresh picked berries from the forest, cream from the käserei and merinques from the local bakery - yummy!

Sushi dinner tonight, maybe because it's umis Birthday? Happy Birthday umi! In case you wonder what happend to the pictures: My ricoh broke down and we are experimenting with a canon EOS 20 D from kevs office.
(Hope I have a new richo by next weekend though)

Friday was one of these days when everything is against you. Stefan and I cooked this lovely dinner. When we were about to sit down and eat (around 9.30) I got a phone call from my father. He was in St aubin and the car key was broken. TCS and VCS don't help in such a situation... So I had to leave with an empty stomach and bring him the car key. On the way back a car crashed into my car and did'nt even stop. No one blessed luckyly but we had to get the police and this takes hours... I came home at 01.30 and was not even hungry anymore.
Luckily such days only happen once every few years.

Tonight we had the first proper grill "party" with our neighbors. I finally managed to make the pumpkin salad from the moro cook book which I had previously planned for saturday...
Let me tell you I was delicious. Pumpkin, chick peas, tahini sauce and cilantro - what a nice combination.
The pumpkin by the way is from our last years harvest.
